Creation | Exploring the Visceral Power of Making

When I began Creation, I asked myself: What if the process of creating always begins with a dream? That question became the foundation for this piece. As a female illustrator, I’m drawn to the intersection of femininity, identity, and emotion. How they can be distilled into clean lines, bold shapes, and minimal compositions that still tell complex stories.

Creation is both a question and a conviction, that art begins long before the first mark, in the powerful courage to bring something into existence. This approach defines my work: bold minimalism with emotional depth, storytelling through simplicity, and a curiosity about what it means to create, to imagine, and to become.

Creation: a minimal vector illustration by female illustrator Monika Jurczyk (Monsie), exploring femininity, identity, and the act of creation through a curled female figure symbolizing growth, imagination, and transformation.
