The Night and Day | Exploring Dualism and Contrast Through Minimal Illustration

Inspired by the rhythm of cycles, The Night and Day explores two opposing concepts represented by two sisters. The goal of this minimal illustration series was to give abstract ideas tangible form, each with its own energy and essence. I approached the project as an exercise in translating dualism and contrast through movement, posture, and presence rather than literal imagery. Both sisters act as metaphorical embodiments of these ideas. Using minimal vector illustration and thoughtful character design, I aimed to make concepts like light and darkness, energy and introspection emotionally clear and resonant.
